Tools to help you in this new market

The news is already spreading about the Fed cutting rates in September. Really the only question is will they do a 1/4% rate cut or ½% rate cut. The Fed meets next week in Jackson Hole for a symposium. I think that is just a fancy word for a meeting. Feel free to use that for you next meeting to make is sound really important!

Important reminder that mortgage rates are already responding to the rate cuts in September and probably in December as well. So if you have clients waiting until the Fed meeting before jumping back into the market let them know they can jump in right now!

There is one more inflation reading and jobs report that will happen before the next less fancy Fed meeting in September. Unless it’s something truly crazy I think at least one rate cut is locked in for September. The Fed doesn’t like to make too much of one single report and over the last several months the data has suggested that inflation and jobs are cooling. My guess is that it will just be one cut in September but there is a chance they could do a ½% cut.

With the NAR lawsuit coming into play this week I did want to share a useful tool you can use with your clients. I’ve attached an example of our buyers roadmap that you can use with your buyers. This is a great way to show the value you bring to clients. Not many people understand everything that is involved with the home buying process. Now you can give hand them a handy guide that breaks everything down for them and explains not only why they should buy a home but how you can help them achieve the dream of homeownership. If you would like a personalized copy of the roadmap please email me and I can get that created for you!
